In 1969, the idea to create a company that focuses on perfect berry flavor and on delivering a superior product was the dream of Tim Miyasaka, who formed the marketing and sales operation known as Well•Pict Berries using only experienced independent growers and an experienced sales and marketing team to make it come to fruition. The team went to work, and now Well•Pict Berries offers their own proprietary, patented, unique varieties that are destined to become known as the best berries in the world. The initial season produced just 500,000 flats, which was quickly sold to a select group of preferred buyers. Today, some 50 years later, Well•Pict Berries is a dominant force in the berry industry worldwide.
