Caring for the Best
In our daily effort to provide the very best berries in the world, Well-Pict berries are fully ripe at the time of picking, meaning they do not continue to ripen after picking. This means their bright red color, natural shine, and fresh green tops are at their premium best the moment you purchase them from your favorite grocer.
In an effort to make the goodness of Well-Pict berries last as long as possible, always refrigerate your berries immediately. Stack them carefully (our modular package design is helpful with this if you purchase multiple packs), and be sure to keep them away from moisture. To this end, don’t wash your beautiful berries until just before use, leaving the green caps on until which time you’re ready to prepare them for your table. When washing, use a gentle spray of cool water. And after washing, remove the green caps with a light twist or with the point of a small paring knife.
