Back to School, Back to Basics
In 2015 only 3.4% of Americans were vegetarians and about 04% considered themselves vegan. This year almost a quarter of millennials identify as vegan or vegetarian and it’s become so mainstream that LA Unified School District has begun presenting vegan, vegetarian, and even gluten free lunches. Specialized diets have become the norm and it’s our good luck that everyone can enjoy strawberries! [Source]
This month kids are heading back to school and parents have the pressure to up their “brown bag” game once again.
