In a world of sugar cookies, be a strawberry-stuffed cannoli!
Holiday treats are forthcoming, and while you’ll never get us to say the offer of a free dessert is anything other than awesome, the average tinsel-strewn gathering hasn’t exactly taught us to expect the unexpected. Sugar cookies, fudge, brittles, barks, fruit(sigh)cake: if we’re being honest, when someone hands us a circular Santa-and-Rudolph bedecked tin, don’t we all kind of know what’s coming? Well, if you’re the brave soul looking to shake things up this holiday season, you’ve landed in the right place (er, post). Well•Pict Berries strawberries and raspberries are the perfect inspiration for treats that take your office party/family gift exchange/cozy cocoa night to the next level. Let’s start with one of our favorites (and the star of this post!)…
With a smooth, creamy filling and a sauce that gives just the slightest kick of tart, this lovely holiday sojourn to Italy does not disappoint. (By the way, we have a whole post on recipes from around the world; you can check it out here.) This dessert screams festive, and if you want to serve it with espresso topped with hand-whipped cream and chocolate shavings, well…who are we to judge?
Lightening things up a bit (wait for it), one thing most folks never expect at a holiday gathering is healthy, light fare. We’re not suggesting you toss out the toffee, but what’s wrong with a little palette (and waistline) cleanser now and then? We think the winter fruit salad recipe below is divine…as long as you don’t forget to add Well•Pict Berries. We think it’s equally delicious to just add them to the existing ingredients or use them in place of kiwis.

Trust us, this recipe is delicious. But…Don’t. Forget. The berries.
Okay, technically we’re cheating on the next one, as it calls for dehydrated strawberries. But, these are so cute, delicious, and—get this—easy that resisting would have been pure silliness. Just don’t forget to serve them with fresh Well•Pict Berries strawberries and decadent hot chocolate.
So, whether you’re wowing co-workers or spoiling your siblings, these recipes are sure to delight and make the holidays all the merrier!
